The most important thing that you should know about me is that I’m always curious, am not impressed by titles, positions, wealth and fame, bloodline and colors, but only by a genuine heart and wisdom.
Not fooled by flowery words or scientific jargon and to me action speaks much louder than a thousand words do.
People whose influences were determinative to my life -
My grandmother, who died last year at the age of 96. She was a no-nonsense, simple country woman, who wasted nothing, who doesn’t know what health food is, but knew how essential food is for our health. She never took anything for granted and was almost child like happy when she got a new anything. She never took any medicine which comes in the form of pills, but frequently used chamomile and garlic and had a schnapps here and there. She was active, concerned about current events, humorous and happy to the last minute of her life.
Joseph Yu, my teacher, who thaught me everything that I know about feng shui, Chinese astrology and the I Ching. His knowledge and profound wisdom were a guiding light for me in the labyrinth of Chinese metaphysics.
Other creatures whose little souls touched my heart and with it changed my life -
Rumci my first Papillon dog and Raffi the Amish puppy mill survivor, whose eyes like little smiling stars, look at me with anxious anticipation.
Julia a wild caught African Grey parrot who’s after so many years of abuse still can trust and love people. She calls my/our house, in middle of America, a “home” and that still brings tears to my eyes.
I’m a Chinese metaphysical consultant and teacher. My work includes traditional feng shui consultation, astrology reading and I Ching divination. Also, I give Reiki healing for animals.
For more information about my work visit my website: CHI Creative Healing Institute
My grass roots animal rescue is a not for profit, single person organization which, of course cannot exist without adequate funds. All animals, besides the love they get from me, need veterinary care, housing and food which requires substantial funding.
My fundraising website is: Julia’s Country Pantry
The income from this site is going to the animals and perhaps one day my dream can come true and I can build a sanctuary on my 4 acre land.
Right at this moment I share my life with Raffi the Amish puppymill rescue, Julia the wild caught African Grey parrot, Quincy a little Quaker parrot who was bounced around, Coco the sweetest Senegal parrot and Punka the funny and very talkative Mini Macaw.
Ufo and Babi, the two dumped cats and several nameless feral cats which I’m trying to catch and get fixed and vaccinated.
Latest arrivals – P.J. the Catalina Macaw, whose life began at the Playboy Mansion, but the ‘party’ was over for P.J. when he was sold, and Zazoo the handsome Timneh African Grey.
